Hello Dr. B Smiles family!
Firstly, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! I speak for the whole Dr. B Smiles team when I say we can’t tell you how much we miss being in the office treating patients and seeing everyone’s smiling faces. I know many of you are anxious to get in for your next appointment and I truly appreciate your patience during this time- we’re anxious to get back too!
Over the last 8 weeks, the team and I have spent countless hours with industry professionals, coaches and consultants to prepare for the safest opening. We’ve followed the requirements and have taken precautions to an even higher level than recommended to make sure everyone is as safe as possible. What may seem as overkill to some is acting responsibly to us. We will keep you posted on these changes as we get closer to opening.
At this time, we are closed due to the Executive Order of Governor Cuomo and recommendations of the New York State Dental Association, you can read more here: https://www.nysdental.org/news-publications/novel-coronavirus-(covid-19). It appears we will be opening in the NYS Phase II reopening plan, which is anticipated to be in early June.
Once we have a firm open date, we will reach out to begin rescheduling patients. As we have a large patient family, we appreciate your patience during this time. We will be reaching out to patients in order of appointments cancelled beginning mid-March when we initially closed. We’ve been successfully seeing patients virtually and I am available to answer any questions or concerns you have.
